Subject [jira] [Created] (INFRA-18588) Artemis JIRA space permissions are not managed the same as AMQ JIRA space permissions
Date Mon, 10 Jun 2019 16:59:00 GMT
Bruce Snyder created INFRA-18588:
------------------------------------

             Summary: Artemis JIRA space permissions are not managed the same as AMQ JIRA
space permissions
                 Key: INFRA-18588
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-18588
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: JIRA
            Reporter: Bruce Snyder

The ActiveMQ project makes use of the following JIRA spaces:

* https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/AMQ
* https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/AMQCPP
* https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/AMQNET
* https://issues.apache.org/jira/projects/ARTEMIS

The permissions for these JIRA spaces are managed using the activemq-administrators and activemq-developers
groups, *with the exception of the ARTMIS space*. I guess the ARTEMIS space uses some other
groups for some reason and this is causing issues for us. Ideally, we would like to change
the ARTEMIS space to be managed using these two activemq groups as well. Is this possible?

One question -- I thought that all permissions for git, Confluence and JIRA were controlled
by the committers and committee lists in Whimsy:

https://whimsy.apache.org/roster/committee/activemq

Is this not the case?
