> Following the discussion at http://markmail.org/message/nd7grfiyobjkfwae, considering
LEGAL-288 and based on a lazy consensus on dev ML with OFBIZ-10145 we are getting rid of gradle-wrapper.jar
from our releases packages.
> So we use a Bash script to download Grade and then install the Gradle Wrapper when necessary.
In a "normal" environment once done it's OK. Gradle is loaded and the Wrapper is aware, nothing
more needed. But on Buildbot 2 questions arises
> # Can we download from Internet using grep?
> # If yes, since the environment is new at each build, can we prevent the Gradle download
and use some kind of cache or alike to reuse the downloaded Gradle version somehow? Then we
would just have to create the Wrapper with each build and copy it where it fits. We would
have to handle the versions changes of course, but that's rare.
