Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-18315) Drop security unix group

Mark Cox commented on INFRA-18315:
----------------------------------

[~sebb] thanks for highlighting the inconsistencies in the makeup of the committee and the
ldap and unix groups. I'm working to clean this up. We'll likely update committee-info to
include dirk and yann soon, but this requires a board resolution.

I suspect we may wish to have non-committee members have access to the security repo, so the
karma should be member list.

The unix group is out of date, we can ignore that group membership and replace.

> The LDAP unix group 'security' still exists.
> It should probably now be dropped.
> But first this means changing pit-auth:
> security={ldap:cn=security,ou=groups,dc=apache,dc=org}
> to something like
> security={ldap:cn=security,ou=project,ou=groups,dc=apache,dc=org;attr=owner}
> or perhaps attr=member?
