Chris Thistlethwaite commented on INFRA-18008:
----------------------------------------------

We're not currently promoting guest accounts, though they are enabled and allowed, as they
count against our seat count/pricing. In order to use the-asf workspace everyone needs to
either have an @apache.org email address or get invited to a single channel by an existing
committer. All the invite services I've found only send an invite for multi-channel guests
(again we get charged per active account) vs the free single channel guest.

> Tried to log into the new Slack domain for ASF using my Apache ID.
> Slack domain: https://the-asf.slack.com/
> my ID: mrutkowski@apache.org
> However, using my password (which works on the ID portal and all other Apache sites/tools)
I get an "invalid password" response.
> What must I do to get Apache Slack to recognize me as a valid Apache user using my credentials?
