Chris Lambertus commented on INFRA-17866:
-----------------------------------------

Nothing has changed on the slave with regards to name resolution.

cml@asf931:~$ ping localhost
PING localhost (127.0.0.1) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from localhost (127.0.0.1): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.061 ms

Why don't you try specifying 127.0.0.1? This sounds like a code/test problem to me.

> Hi INFRA,
> We experience problems with ZooKeeper builds on H31 since 12 Feb, 2019:
> Build Duration Agent
> Failed	#231	1 hr 9 min	H31
> Failed	#230	1 hr 10 min	H31
> Failed	#229	1 hr 10 min	H31
> ...
> Failed	#226	1 hr 9 min	H31
> ...
> Success	#223	42 min H31
> ...
> #223 was successful on 9 Feb, but #226 failed on 12 Feb. The error messages says:
> java.rmi.ConnectException: Connection refused to host: 67.195.81.178; nested exception
is:
> java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused (Connection refused)
> When tests are trying to create local JMX connection with: "service:jmx:rmi://"
> The IP looks like the host's own IP address, but JMX is not listening on that interface
by default.
> Would you please take a look at the host's name resolution config?
> Thanks.
