Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-17763) Enable Travis on Maven github repositories
Date Sun, 27 Jan 2019 05:01:00 GMT

Greg Stein commented on INFRA-17763:

As policy, the Infrastructure team will not "clicky clicky" through GitHub screens for more
than 10 repositories per PMC. If the PMC requires changes to more than 10 repositories, then
the PMC must develop a script to make it happen (via the GitHub API), and provide that to
the Infra team. We'll run the script with the necessary privileges, to make the desired changes
to the large set of repositories.

Regarding Travis: how many builds are you expecting per day/week?

> I would like to enable Travis-CI on all (100!!) github repositories related to Maven
> We (Maven committers) have already tried with maven-scripting-plugin and it is working
as expected.
> Next step is to enable to the whole group of repositories.
> If you prefer I can file X issues and batch repositories. No problem from my side.
> Initially I will push the Travis configuration file to most active repositories, not
to every 100.
