Subject [jira] [Updated] (INFRA-17731) Confluence and LDAP Usernames Don't Match
Date Tue, 22 Jan 2019 15:33:00 GMT

Gavin updated INFRA-17731:
Status: Waiting for user (was: Waiting for Infra)

Hi, thanks for reporting.

We got a good one here!

So, I have renamed your 'cwiki' id - so jonathnhurley and your 'current' password will work
there. Please check and test.

Fr 'cwiki-test' , your current 'jhurley' cwiki id belongs to another committer - that is someone
has that as their asf id. This is a good reason we are sorting these out now.

You should be able to login to 'cwiki-test' using your LDAP is and creds. Please test that
and let me know.

As a side effect, you may find your wiki edits, pages, comments and maybe even permissions assigned
to this other jhurley - I would not worry about this though - as over the coming weekend,
I will do another data refresh on 'cwiki-test' and as your username will be correct at the
time, we should be good.

Will leave this ticket open for you to test, and also next week lets confirm things again.

Also, when I attempt to login to the test wiki (, I receive an error
message indicating I have no permissions.
