Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-17694) Link to commits in Jira
Date Fri, 25 Jan 2019 16:04:00 GMT

Richard S. Hall commented on INFRA-17694:

I was actually coming to open in issue on this topic.

I am not sure when it changed, but in Apache Felix we always used to "attach" commit records
to issues by including the JIRA issue number in the commit message. This was working for many
years. Unfortunately, just the other day I went to a JIRA issue to see its associated commit
diff and it wasn't there, even though the commit message included the JIRA issue number.

So, it seems that somehow this was disabled or broken at some point. I was wondering what
we need to do to get it working again?

and would be displayed in the work log. For POI we are using Bugzilla and by adding "r<rev#>"
to a comment, a link to viewvc is created, which is also fine.
