Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-17518) How do I release official images up on Docker hub under the "apache" user?
Date Thu, 03 Jan 2019 14:39:00 GMT

Dan Haywood commented on INFRA-17518:

Hi Gavin,

Re: (1) Can you give me an example of a build that pushes to Nexus staging and Dockerhub?
It isn't obvious to me when I create a new build configuration which plugins to enable.

Re: (2) that does sound like it might easier (since our release builds are run manually).
Would it be possible to auth my Dockerhub, which is "danhaywood". Is that sufficient for
you though? I suppose I am posting this comment using my account, so
perhaps it's secure enough? Or do you need other evidence before granting karma?

to a staging repo on; after voting we then release to maven central.

hub under the "apache" user (or whatever constitutes the official location for Apache releases).

add them as a new layer to a standard Tomcat image, then upload the resultant image up to
docker hub.
