Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-17340) Question on using ASF Jenkins server to build project pages
Date Sat, 19 Jan 2019 05:32:00 GMT

David Lim commented on INFRA-17340:

[~humbedooh] sorry I haven't had a chance to set up the Jenkins job yet as some other stuff
came up, but I tried logging in and it looks like I have the required permissions so thank
you very much.

One thing I haven't had much luck with is getting a PMC chair to help with setting up a source
repo according to option 2 mentioned by Gavin. Would you be able to assist here? I was thinking
something like incubator-druid-website-src (to match the built site at incubator-druid-website).

Thank you!

> Hello,
> The Apache Druid project is currently using GitHub as the repository for the project
page ( In the past, our practice has been to store the site source files
in GitHub, and then have a build bot monitoring this repository which generates the built
web pages and commit them back to GitHub.
> Is this something that we can do using the ASF Jenkins cluster? If not, do you have any
recommendations on best practices for setting this up in the Apache environment?
