Sebb commented on INFRA-15928:
------------------------------

Note also that this JIRA does not cover all the mail-related tasks needed before minotaur
can be decomissioned.
E.g. mail-archive and mail-private rely on copying mails from minotaur, and mboxer does not
have a full set of archives

> As the subject says: there need to be a check that all current mailing lists and aliases
are being correctly archived on mboxer.
> This involves checking that the archives are present in the correct directory structure.
> The information for this check can be derived from bin/.archives.
> There also needs to be a check that no mails are being dropped.
> This is a bit harder to do, as the directory structure on minotaur is different (for
private and restricted mails). Also some month-end mails may be in different mboxes.
> For mailing lists, it may be possible to use the sequence numbers, but mail aliases don't
have these. Hopefully almost all mails have (unique) Message-Ids so it may be possible to
use that plus some fields from the original message if necessary.
