> At the moment, the ASF owns/manages 38 domains. Historically, these were served by our
hidden master, and slaved to 3rd parties helping us out. These are now primarily served as
redirects by Namecheap, and no longer need to be in our zone files, slaved, or have redirects
served by our TLP servers.
> The only domains that point to our DNS slaves, and serve content, are:
> * apache.org
> * apachecon.com
> * groovy-lang.org
> * openoffice.org
> Additionally, spamassassin.org has a custom set of nameservers, defined at Namecheap.
Thus, we do not need a zone file or service for this domain.
> Please clean out all extraneous domains from our DNS and http/redirect servicing. Either
proactively, or during the construction of a "dns-vm".
> And I believe lastly, to inform our downstream DNS providers to trim their set of served
domains, to the list of four.
