Subject [jira] [Updated] (INFRA-15064) Puppet Python scripts assume host will add Message-ID and Date
Date Sun, 27 Jan 2019 13:38:00 GMT

Sebb updated INFRA-15064:
-------------------------
Status: Waiting for Infra (was: Closed)

There are no message-IDs for the "New gitbox/github repository created" messages [1]

Rather than relying on the host to fix this, maybe it would be better to ensure the script
uses a library that provides the proper headers.

> The puppet Python scripts assume the host will add Message-ID and Date to emails sent
using the script (this is not automatically done by the Python library which is used).
> Most ASF hosts do this, but some don't currently (INFRA-15014).
> It would be a good idea to ensure that the standard host setup includes the required
mail settings (whatever they are).
