Subject [jira] [Updated] (INFRA-17026) ECharts committer removed from Apache group on GitHub

Ovilia updated INFRA-17026:
---------------------------
    Description:
I'm Zhang Wenli, a committer of ECharts incubator project.

Recently, I changed my Mac and I cannot access to GitHub due to the 2FA settings. So I asked
GitHub admin to reset my 2FA settings so that I can login.

But it happens that I was removed from Apache organization just after GitHub admin reset my
2FA. I asked GitHub admin and he said "Having a look at our logs, it looks like you were removed
by an administrator at @apache shortly after 2FA was disabled". The email is attached at the
end.

So could you please add me back to Apache organization?
My GitHub id is Ovilia, and GitHub email is zwl.sjtu@gmail.com.
My Apache id is ovilia, and Apache email is oviliazhang@gmail.com.

Thanks!

Wenli

Email from GitHub Admin:

Hi Wenli,

Thanks for getting back to us.

While we do sometimes need to remove users from 2FA requiring organizations during the disabling
process, it doesn't look like that was the case here. We always ask permission ahead of doing
so and only where 2FA is required by the organization in question.

Having a look at our logs, it looks like you were removed by an administrator at @apache shortly
after 2FA was disabled. I'd recommend reaching out directly to see if your status can be reinstated.

In case it helps, we have a guide that an administrator can use for reinstating your previous
access, here:

https://help.github.com/articles/reinstating-a-former-member-of-your-organization

Let me know if there's anything else we can help with in the meantime.

Best regards,

Michael
