Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-16668) Jenkins VM nodes for OpenWhisk Distributed Testing
Date Wed, 18 Jul 2018 00:51:00 GMT

Daniel Gruno commented on INFRA-16668:

boxes have been ordered. They are slightly larger than needed, but that is purely down to
what makes the best financial sense (same price as lower specs).
I'll get them set up ASAP - I am assuming they need to be puppetized and so on?

> In discussions with [~gstein] and our mentor [~bdelacretaz] we agree that INFRA would
setup to start with 3 small VMs.
> Each VM should have:

> - Docker engine and CLI version 1.12 (this is an old version that is the version we support
want to test, in the future we will upgrade to a newer version)

httplib2>=0.9.2 requests=>2.10.0
> We need to be able to run from jenkins, ansible-playbook, this plaubooks would will run
shell commands including docker command such as docker CLI commands such as build, pull, run,
rmi, rm, etc..
> - Network connectivity between the VMs should be possible since we will be using http,
and kafka (tcp) between them.
