Chris Lambertus resolved INFRA-16605.
-------------------------------------

Managing roles is self-serve for projects.

See https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/INFRA/Role+Based+JIRA+Authorization for information
on the default roles. The group authorization that you reference is deprecated and is not
available to new projects.

> We have a several different subprojects within NiFi with their own JIRA projects and
Wiki spaces. Looking through the Project Settings in JIRA, I see a few projects have *-committers
and *-pmc groups (eg myfaces). Is this something we could also get created for NiFi? I would
also be interested to know if there is any kind of tie-in to the core ASF directory service.

> Regardless, as new folks join the committer and PMC ranks, it would be quite helpful
to have this information adjusted in one or two locations opposed to each individual project/space.

> Thanks!
