Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-16467) move Maven & Doxia components out of CMS svn space

Greg Stein commented on INFRA-16467:
------------------------------------

I assume just bring over the head? No history needed? (we'll have the history in repos/infra)

A simple export of the old location (via file://), then import into the new should be fastest
(again, via file://, but it is tricky to ensure su/chgrp to the right values). The export/import
would miss properties (if any are present). I'll take a look, to get a feel for properties
in the source.

(a single revision dumpfile might be faster, but not appreciably)

>
> Key: INFRA-16467
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-16467
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Task
> Components: CMS
> Reporter: Hervé Boutemy
> Assignee: Chris Lambertus
> Priority: Major
>
> now that Maven & Doxia sites are migrated to Git, with their svnpubsub html output
in svn (https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/maven/website/content/ and https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/maven/doxia/website/content/)
> Chris Lambertus or Gavin (I don't remember precisely :) ) ask us to move components html
content out of CMS svnpubsub space
> ie. move from https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/websites/production/maven/components/
and https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/websites/production/maven-doxia/components/
> to https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/maven/website/components/ and https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/maven/doxia/website/components/
> I suppose this will enable cleanup on CMS (where we have also tests in staging only)
