Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-16343) Allow (Sling) PMC members to add GitHub topics to our repositories
Date Thu, 03 May 2018 13:24:00 GMT

Chris Lambertus commented on INFRA-16343:

If you do write it in python and make it generic enough for any project to use, we would very
likely look at integrating it into our selfserve tools.

> Following up on INFRA-16081 which didn't explain the use case, we would like to allow
Sling PMC members to set GitHub topics on our repositories.
> Comparing to for example, that
repository has "openwhisk openwhisk-website jekyll" topics set, but if I (bdelacretaz on GitHub)
look at for example I don't see the "Manage topics" option.
> Apparently that's because I do not have the "maintainer" role in the
team - assuming that team owns all the sling repositories on GitHub.
> Is it possible to add the "maintainer" role for Sling PMC members in the sling-committers
team? Or for all members of that team if that's easier. INFRA-16081 has the list of GitHub
usernames for PMC members.
