Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-16367) Cannot access and through sftp which blocks the release files uploading
Date Mon, 16 Apr 2018 09:41:00 GMT

Gavin commented on INFRA-16367:

note the subtle difference in the url

Sebb pointed you to the 'dev' area [1] of dist.a.o which is designed specifically with RCs
in mind - they do not get sent out to the mirroring systems. Once you have a final approved
release, you can just svn move it from from this 'dev' area to the 'release' area [2].

[1]{project} .
[2] -{project} .

You may still use for RCs, but it is easier from dist.a.o in terms of workflow.

> I'm building the Hadoop 2.9.1 release candidate and want to upload it to
through sftp. I. got the following prompt,

a RSA public key which is generated using "ssh-keygen".

is different from the key I put into SSH Key field.

of the public key?

release candidate, should I fire another JIRA to request a "blog user account" ?
