Tibor Digana commented on INFRA-16191:
--------------------------------------

Again I am not talking about shorter path names. I am talking about this folder name: AZVF7TDCCMKWMBHS2VO5MLWAKGTWFQWCOGV6TP2CHVULE4Z77ANA

It is folder created by Jenkins job.
And Java copies directories from source to integration tests and therefore it assumes length
260 - 12 -1 = 247.

> Currently the length of workspace directory name is 55 characters.
> Please configure the length with system property {{-Djenkins.branch.WorkspaceLocatorImpl.PATH_MAX=...}}.
> Perhaps this setting would have an effect on all jobs if we use it in the startup service
script. Here is JIRA as a hint https://issues.jenkins-ci.org/browse/JENKINS-34564
> Our Maven builds are very unstable and we already made project folders much shorter and
it is still not enough.
