Subject [jira] [Created] (INFRA-16186) Can Gitbox participating project use Github Issues?
Date Wed, 14 Mar 2018 15:46:00 GMT
Rohit Yadav created INFRA-16186:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Can Gitbox participating project use Github Issues?
                 Key: INFRA-16186
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-16186
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Wish
          Components: GitBox, Github
            Reporter: Rohit Yadav

Dear Infra, I'm wondering to what extent and scope the Gitbox experiment can support projects
such as CloudStack. I see that pull requests, project board is allowed/enabled. What about
issues and wiki?

The purpose of this ticket is to know the scope of support a Gitbox enabled project, i.e.
can the ASF can allow the use of Github issues and wiki for a Gitbox repository (for example
github.com/apache/cloudstack)?

FYI - This is right now just a feasibility question, asked as an individual. A wider conversation
with PMC and community may be started if ASF/infra can allow additional features on gitbox
repos such as issues and wiki.

Thanks.
