Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-16062) Turn off emails to Github apache-team

Sander Temme commented on INFRA-16062:
--------------------------------------

Just went back to the Github convo and started entering a comment: when I start at-mentioning
apache/apache-team it still expands. Of course I stopped short of submitting the comment
lest the flare-up starts anew.

Does the Secret status of the Team not mean that team members (which is every committer) can
still at-mention it and hit everybody?

I realize we're not on our own infrastructure here but this seems to me something that cannot
fail to periodically blow up on us with predictable hilarity to follow.

> At-mentioning team-apache on Github causes all subsequent discussion to be sent to all
1,796 members on that team. Is there any need for this team:
> to receive e-mails from Github?
