Daniel Gruno updated INFRA-15947:

> Key: INFRA-15947
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-15947
> Project: Infrastructure
> Issue Type: Planned Work
> Components: Comments

> Priority: Major

> The Solr Ref Guide uses comments.apache.org to power user comments on pages of Solr documentation.
It had been working fine until around late-December or early-January, and now it returns 503
Service Unavailable errors. I chatted with Chris Lambertus on HipChat, and he thought perhaps
it's being moved.
> If it's being retired we could figure out using another system, but it's highlighted
rather prominently on our pages (see https://lucene.apache.org/solr/guide/7_2/index.html for
an example) so I'd like to know if there's any way to gauge how long the outage will last
so I can either warn users that it will come back eventually or get going with a new implementation
of something else.
