Subject [jira] [Created] (INFRA-15335) Firefox not found for Tapestry's Jenkins build
Date Sat, 21 Oct 2017 20:13:02 GMT
Bob Harner created INFRA-15335:
----------------------------------

             Summary: Firefox not found for Tapestry's Jenkins build
                 Key: INFRA-15335
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-15335
             Project: Infrastructure
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: Jenkins
            Reporter: Bob Harner

Tapestry project builds on Jenkins (https://builds.apache.org/job/tapestry-trunk-freestyle)
are failing due to Selenium not finding Firefox in the path:

{code}
org.apache.tapestry5.beanvalidator.integration.TapestryBeanValidationIntegrationTests.testStartup
FAILED
    org.openqa.selenium.WebDriverException: Cannot find firefox binary in PATH. Make sure
firefox is installed. OS appears to be: LINUX
    Build info: version: '3.6.0', revision: '6fbf3ec767', time: '2017-09-27T15:28:36.4Z'
    System info: host: 'asf914.gq1.ygridcore.net', ip: '67.195.81.158', os.name: 'Linux',
os.arch: 'amd64', os.version: '4.4.0-43-generic', java.version: '1.8.0_144'
    Driver info: driver.version: FirefoxDriver
{code}

I assume Firefox is installed but not in the default path for the Jenkins user? What is the
path to Firefox? Should it be added to the default path for the Jenkins user or hard-coded
within Tapestry's Gradle build?

Thanks!
