Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-15006) Help needed pushing NetBeans donation to Apache Git

During the discussion on how to proceed, there was an e-mail here:

I suspect it might be to big for JIRA, but we at least can try.
Otherwise I think we need to request infra some other way how/where we can place
this zip on a *ASF* owned/managed server.

The current server is still (and I assume remains, even after transferring the
domain) owned by Oracle, so there is no *legal* nor practical control of that
file by the ASF.
Committing the zip to version control (as mentioned by the quote below) isn't
practical either, if not already to big to get pushed to begin with, nor would
we want this (have) to be cloned each and every time.

In the end, we need to unpack the zip(s) and push the contents, but my understanding is that
the request is that the donation zip should be placed somewhere in ASF unmodified, so that
there's a stable point to refer to.

three repos have been created, one for each of the repos in the ZIP: incubator-netbeans-html4j.git,
incubator-netbeans-jackpot30.git, and incubator-netbeans.git.
> We have been told not to push code to the repos ourselves. We have been told that Apache
Infra should guide the process. We have also been told to upload the ZIP providing the donation
to an issue, for which reason this issue is created, will try to add the ZIP file to this
issue, though it may be too large. In any case, we need help from Apache Infra, currently
this is a blocker for Apache NetBeans (incubating).
