Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-14627) Windows Compilers Lack Licenses/Features
Date Wed, 26 Jul 2017 02:28:00 GMT

Allen Wittenauer commented on INFRA-14627:

OK, looking at the logs and a few other things, that's a great place to actually have a failure.
It means we've built two of the native components and are now failing where we call cmake.
That part, in order work with this particular compiler, needs HADOOP-14667 applied.

Let me play with a version of the source tree with that applied. If it works, we should be
good to go! Hooray!

it doesn't appear that any of the installed compilers have all of the necessary parts to make
this work:

from VS x to VS y. I *believe* it ships as default with the non-Express versions of the compilers,
but I'm not 100% on that. I know that it definitely comes with Pro and Ultimate on VS 2012
and VS 2013.

normal nightly builds again.
