Chris Lambertus resolved INFRA-14083.
-------------------------------------
    Resolution: Won't Fix
      Assignee: Chris Lambertus

We provide a number of options for searching our lists. We have no control over google's indexer.

> Many jira tickets have extensive discussions in email lists, and one would like to search
them.
> https://www.apache.org/dev/asfmailsearch.html says that public lists may be searched
with third-party engines, and there is a Google Custom widget at the tops of that page and
https://www.apache.org/foundation/mailinglists.html .
> For instance, STORM-2204 had lots of discussion in storm-dev list in December. But entering
"STORM-2204" in the Custom Search, or
> "site:mail-archives.apache.org STORM-2204" in public Google search, return no results.
> Similarly, SPARK-17845 had discussion in spark-dev in December, but returns no results
in either private or public (with site:) search.
> It seems highly desirable to be indexed. Can INFRA please look at whether it has been
disabled somehow? Thanks.
