Subject [jira] [Updated] (INFRA-14186) Remove Git-JIRA integration bot
Date Tue, 23 May 2017 08:59:04 GMT

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-14186?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel
]

Ran Ziv updated INFRA-14186:
----------------------------
    Status: Waiting for Infra (was: Closed)

The problem still hasn't been solved entirely - it seems like posts by "ASF subversion and
git services" no longer appear, but there are still messages by "ASF GitHub Bot"
See example on here: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/ARIA-149

Please remove this bot as well.

> Incubator project ARIA-TOSCA currently has a bot running which monitors git commits,
merges etc. and posts comments on related JIRA issues automatically (including adding JIRA
links to external Github pull requests).
> We used to need that bot before we had the Fisheye integration (which functions similarly)
on, but now it's no longer needed - In fact it's somewhat bothering due to spam and clutter
on both the JIRA tickets and the mailing lists, which receive an update on each such comment.
> Please remove the bot from the ARIA-TOSCA project (but keep the Fisheye integration on).
