Gavin commented on INFRA-13895:
-------------------------------

Next step is to find out whereabouts in the file the reported error(s) may be happening.

Running 'iconv -f us-ascii -t utf-8 rat-output.xml' from the public_html/ofbiz directory on
buildbot master produces lots of output, then dies at this point, which is where our (first)
error is:-

resource name='/home/buildslave2/slave2/ofbiz-trunk-rat/build/framework/common/config/QRCodeUiLabels.xml'><header-sample><?xml
version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<resource xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance">
    <property key="QRTypeNotSupported">
        <value xml:lang="en">The QRCode type {0} is not supported!</value>
        <value xml:lang="zh">iconv: illegal input sequence at position 759579

The above tells us which file is being the troublesome one, and also whereabouts in the xml
file the error happens.

> Ofbiz RAT output.xml has been producing bad output for a while now. It is halting production
of other projects html reports.
> In addition, their RAT builds have been failing for a while due to a number of things,
our re-org of how RAT runs happen on buildbot hasnt helped, and neither has Ofbiz re-org of
their SVN tree.
