> INFRA-12157 documents Impala's work to export issues from an external JIRA server to
issues.apache.org. To do so, we are exporting, post-processing, and then importing JSON. In
the most recent testing, I can import the JSON to a JIRA test instance I have access to that
is on JIRA version v7.1.9#71013-sha1:1aa0586 with a few errors and warnings. On the other
hand, issues-test.apache.org/jira is on version v6.4.14#64029-sha1:ae256fe, and it chokes
even parsing the JSON. I am not 100%, but it appears to be reproducible that one of our issues
cannot have the string "phone" in its description, but it's only this one issue. It took hours
to track this down due to the poor specificity of the import error messages, and there are
some indefinite number of additional bugs that cause identically useless error messages.
> Would it be possible to upgrade to 7.1.9?
