Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-12847) Create Virtual Machine for Taverna podling

Stian Soiland-Reyes commented on INFRA-12847:
---------------------------------------------

Thank you, can confirm it is working. Is it OK that I did this?

{code}
chgrp taverna-vm.apache.org-sudoers /var/run/docker.sock
{code}

or should we use {{sudo}} to run docker? (Docker by default can be asked to mount {/}, so
docker access effectively means full access)

> It was mentioned on the INFRA chat that the best way is to just raise a ticket.
> Our requirements are roughly:
> * 2.5 GB of RAM
> * 30 GB of space
> * Ubuntu 16.04 TLS, 14.04 TLS or similar Linux distro
> * Docker
> * Either an IPv4 address (for port 80/443) or at least two accessible ports - first one
would be ideal as it needs to be accessed from Android phones on restricted network. VHost
exposure through HTTP proxy would be OK.
> Would that be possible..? Thanks!
