Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-7524) migrate Apache Subversion project over to the git repo
Date Wed, 02 Apr 2014 00:21:20 GMT

Ben Reser commented on INFRA-7524:

Consensus is a bit of a strong word to use for a decision that Greg, myself and others strongly
opposed. Seeing as the private list is just that private I'll just link to my comments to
Paul Hammant's suggestion of a Subversion and Mercurial merger. For all practical purposes
your end result here is turning Subversion into nothing more than a front end to git. My
comments on Paul's email are just as applicable in this case, though obviously the git folks
aren't merging with us so much as gaining yet another client.

mirror (along with the copy over to GitHub). Will the git repo be at (is
it *still* considered -wip "work in progress"?)

Please let me know.
