Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-7524) migrate Apache Subversion project over to the git repo
Date Tue, 01 Apr 2014 22:53:21 GMT

Stefan Sperling commented on INFRA-7524:

I'm also seeing eol-style issues in a local git repository clone of the current migration
candidate. These could be resolved by configuring gitattributes to match our svn:eol-style

ra_git will handle this transparently once property support is added (I'm currently still
working on commit which turns out to have some rather nasty unexpected edge cases -- I think
I'm running into some libgit2 bugs but really not sure yet).

But perhaps the migration scripts the infra team is using could be updated to handle this
correctly? Newline conversion is not exactly rocket science guys, give or take the workload
the infra team is already carrying, seriously... please PM me a link to whatever migration
script sources you're using and I'll try to fix them up if you don't have time. Cheers!

it *still* considered -wip "work in progress"?)

Please let me know.
