Subject [jira] [Commented] (INFRA-7524) migrate Apache Subversion project over to the git repo
Date Tue, 01 Apr 2014 12:46:18 GMT

Jake Farrell commented on INFRA-7524:

We can do the initial import to git with the svn repo in rw, though we typically try and avoid
doing migrations that way. Open Office did it this way and they are still debating when to
switch over officially. After verifying the initial migration we can move over the delta and
then reverify

[~gstein] I'll start the migration shortly, it will take awhile to move all history over and
get the github mirror setup. When done your primary repo will be at
with emails going to the Subversion commits@ mailing list

mirror (along with the copy over to GitHub). Will the git repo be at (is
it *still* considered -wip "work in progress"?)

Please let me know.
