Subject [jira] [Resolved] (INFRA-5065) Migrate flume codebase from svn to git.
Date Wed, 01 Aug 2012 14:33:03 GMT

Jukka Zitting resolved INFRA-5065.

    Resolution: Fixed
      Assignee: Jukka Zitting

OK, I've turned off the svn sync. The mirrors on and now follow
the writable repository on

Unfortunately we do not have the tooling to mirror changes in git back to svn. If you have
people who still prefer to use svn for read-only access the latest codebase, you can point
them to the svn support at GitHub. Something like "svn checkout"
should work. See and
for instructions.

Flume from svn to git. Please create a git repo for flume and migrate the code to that.

to be behind the svn repo. The github mirro is usually behind by several hours, while the
apache git mirror is slow by a few minutes to a couple of hours.
