Ulrich Stärk commented on INFRA-2495:
-------------------------------------

When logging in there is a checkbox titled "remember my login on this computer". Checking
it will store a long-lived cookie in your browser allowing you to automatically log in. Otherwise
the session will expire after 60 minutes and another login will be necessary. Increasing the
session timeout is not an option since that will result in a lot of stale sessions consuming
memory.

> Would it be possible to extend the lifetime for the Jira "authentication" cookie for
the Traffic Server users /project to say 1 week? I don't know exactly how long lived it is
today, but I seem to have to authenticate quite often (and until I got used to it happening
without warnings, it was quite annoying having my powers removed so often).
