Subject [jira] Commented: (INFRA-1710) Extra step in QPID workflow
Date Thu, 14 Aug 2008 15:39:46 GMT

Gavin commented on INFRA-1710:

I've made a start, but its late so I'll wait till morning before testing and activating it.

A couple of questions I've made a guess at but you might want to clarify :-

1. Do you still want existing steps from 'In Progress' to resolved/closed to remain as choices
in addition to Ready for Review, or would you rather Review be the only choice (other than
Stop Progress->open) ?
(In other words, currently even if the Review step is added, those with resolve/close perms
can choose not to review and just close it, this might be the desired effect, I'm guessing.
Choices, choices :) )

2. Who should be able to act as the reviewer ? In other words , change status to reviewed->accept&resolved
or reviewed->denied&open, currently I've made the choice that only folks who can resolved/close
issues can do the review step. (And I assumed you would want the reviewer to deny as well
as accept!)

3. I'll double check , but think I've made it that only the person working on the issue (who
it is assigned to whilst in progress) can then choose to put it in for review.

Thats all for now, cheers
