Subject [jira] Commented: (STDCXX-26) bogus test for <ma.h>
Date Mon, 19 Sep 2005 16:47:28 GMT
    [ http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/STDCXX-26?page=comments#action_12329878 ]

Martin Sebor commented on STDCXX-26:
------------------------------------

Actually, this is a feature of /usr/bin/basename on Solaris. The POSIX version of the command
(/usr/xpg4/bin/basename) behaves as expected:

$ uname -rs && /usr/bin/basename math .h && /usr/xpg4/bin/basename math .h
SunOS 5.9
ma
math
