Martin, I think this is a great idea.
I vote in favor of releasing this snapshot (+1).

For what its worth, Rogue Wave C++ Standard Library version 4.1.0 (part of
SourcePro 8) was tested and certified on these platforms (below). Since this
has not changed much, there is a good chance this works on most of the
platforms.
