It is easy to install Sling in <a href="" class="external-link"

This installation provides an OSGi-pure application without the need for the standalone launcher
jar.

Download Karaf from <a href=""

Unzip Karaf where you want to run the application.

Launch Karaf with
bin/karaf.bat or bin/

Install the webconsole. From the Karaf shell, type
features:install webconsole

Add the Sling feature

Install Sling
features:install sling

page.

As an added bonus, you now have the deploy directory. Just drag
bundles into the directory to have them installed.
