Subject [jira] Commented: (FTPSERVER-10) Summary of changes made to the FTPSERVER
Date Mon, 29 Aug 2005 06:52:05 GMT

Birkir A. Barkarson commented on FTPSERVER-10:
----------------------------------------------

I accessed the CVS, got the source and built it using Maven.
I am however not sure how to run the server. I was unable to stick the built JAR files into
the Phoenix sar file which was used by the older version as that gave me an error.

( org.apache.avalon.phoenix.interfaces.DeploymentException: Unable to create BlockInfo as
are unable to locate resource "org/apache/ftpserver/usermanager/PropertiesUserManager.xinfo
)

Now I am getting the sense that I am missing something obvious.

I also note Rana's mail regarding removing the Avalon dependancies.
Is it safe for me to move the modifications I did to the current structure?
