Sorry for a late reply. I was using CDH3u1 which is 20.2 version.With version of apache(0.20.203)
I was not able to setup the oozie user property. And had to struggle with "somebody impersonating
somebody" errors. 


I called setup with 

./oozie-setup -hadoop 0.20.2 $HADOOP_HOME 

I agree now this fix is like a hack. Are you able to setup oozie with apache release?
