Gee whiz, guys & gals -- while these side debates are needed and aren't
totally out-of-order, might I suggest that we stick to improving the product
and skip the snipping and sniping? 

And BTW, this comment applies equally to other yuk/snorks/blaths -- please
let's just get back to business, OK?

Hi,

If it was ignored it was ignored by Sun and Oracle.
The current developers did a fantastic job to port it to Apache standards.
Let's see what the future brings.
