When I manage to do something like that, in any word processor of my choosing, my solution
is to copy the table completely, so there are two tables.  Then delete the rows from each
that I want only to be in the other one.

There might be other solutions, but this has always done the job for me.

I accidentally merged two tables, how can I now separate them? There
were many changes done since the merge, so Undo is out of the
question.
