Bug 118869 - Table of Cotents corrupted when MS Word doc opened and saved
without editing

The initial finder of the error states to us that when a document was created
in Microsoft Word 2007 which has two table of contents is saved as word
93-2003. When the document was opened in Open Office writer the fields in the
table was corrupted.

When i did the same steps in Microsoft word 2010 and open it in Open Office 3.4
i could able to reproduce the same error.

Steps which i did are:

1. Created a document which had two table of content's and saved as

2.Opened the Document1.docx in Open Office writer without editing i saved it as

3. When i reopened the "Document2.odt" in word i could find the tables was

The extra test which i did was i opened the "Document1.doxc" in Microsoft word
2007 and checked. I found the table of content's were not corrupted.

User Issues:

This kind of bug would be much dis satisfactory for the user. When the user
gets all the table of content's correctly in Microsoft word but they find the
issue when opens the same in Open Office Writer. Being a Open Office user i'm
disappointed with this result.

I saw a similar confirmed Bug 55860 where the tables get overlapped when they
opened the Microsoft word file in Open Office. I feel it has to work as i get
the result in Microsoft word.
