Subject Re: Select Multiple Drawings

Greetings from the Missouri Ozarks, USA!

I received this because I asked to read OpenOffice bug reports, but I am
not part of the Apache Developer group. I like and use OpenOffice, but
do not use the Draw program.

However, I have a suggestion for another open source program that
temporarily should solve your problem - *Inkscape* from <inkscape.org> -
which has an interactive tutorial where you practice what you have been
shown. It allows layers and has full layer manipulation, and it can draw
flow elements of many types, including those you define. The learning
slope is shallow and gentle. It is a vector graphics program, but also
can produce JPGs and bitmaps.

My wife and I visited Chile last year, and we hope to find an
inexpensive flight to Argentina this year or next. Argentina poses the
same problem for tourists as the USA, it is a very big country with long
distances between major cities.

Best regards,

However
