             Bug #: 119261
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: OOo3.3 crashes when buttons are positioned in a Frame
                    in Writer
    Classification: Application
           Product: Word processor
           Version: OOO330m20
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Windows XP
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: P3
         Component: editing
        AssignedTo: ooo-issues@incubator.apache.org
        ReportedBy: bibuz@online.de

As I'm familiar only with the german version of OOo I don't know the english
command names. Hope you can understand what I mean nevertheless.

Reproducable Problem in OOo Writer 3.3 (NOT in Writer 3.2):
- Insert a frame of fixed size.
- Insert a new command button in that frame.
- Select anchoring at frame.
- Set position relativ to 'frame text area' (in german: Rahmentextbereich),
  e. g. horizontal 1.00in from left, vertical 1.00in from top.

Confirming with [OK] OOo 3.3 crashes at once.

- Anchoring at paragraph or character functions quite well, but that does'nt
fit my needs.

My System: Windows XP SP3, OOo 3.30m20 (Build:9567).

---
How I found out:
In OOo 3.2 I created more than a dozen of Writer templates with buttons inside
frames anchored at the frame. The buttons reference to basic macros inside the
document. All was fine. After I updated to v3.3 OOo crashed every time I tried
to open those templates.
# I deinstalled v3.3 and deleted the user folder and installed v3.2. - All's
well.
# I deinstalled v3.2 and deleted the user folder and installed v3.3. - OOo
crashes as described.
---

Is this a known problem? Can it be reproduced by other users? Will it be in OOo
3.4?

PS: For testing I installed LibreOffice 3.5. - There were no problems with
editing buttons as described above. The old 3.2-templates worked fine also.

Thank you for listening!
HD from Germany
