Thanks for your prompt come-back.
OpenOffice 3.3.0 build 9567. When the problem arose, after numerous attempts I
finally uninstalled and reinstalled OOo.
Status bar does show Microsoft Access which I find odd; I don't think that was
there before this problem arose. (I've been using the MS Malicious Software
Removal tool for the last few months, which I don't usually trust since I know
it has a habit of re-setting things.)
All goes well with both Wizards until I try to save out the finished table
structure: I get the same error message with both wizard saves.
