             Bug #: 118564
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: pptx import text is messed up
    Classification: Application
           Product: Presentation
           Version: OOo 3.2
          Platform: PC
        OS/Version: Linux
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: P5
         Component: open-import
        AssignedTo: graphicsneedsconfirm@openoffice.org
        ReportedBy: acorn@cheerful.com
                CC: ooo-issues@incubator.apache.org

Created attachment 76944
  --> https://issues.apache.org/ooo/attachment.cgi?id=76944
a pptx file generated by MS Powerpoint that imports poorly into oo

Importing a pptx created with MS Powerpoint loses much of the formatting.

To reproduce: open the attached file. Also available as
  http://www.rawbw.com/~acorn/oo_bugs/buggy_font_color1.pptx

In MS Powerpoint (where created) this file looks like this:

http://www.rawbw.com/~acorn/oo_bugs/buggy_font_color1_powerpoint_screenshot.png

in OOImpress 3.2 this file looks like this:

http://www.rawbw.com/~acorn/oo_bugs/buggy_font_color1_ooimpress_screenshot.png

There are many problems. Some of the problems include:

- the word "runnier" is supposed to be red and the following text black. But
in oo *all* the text following the word is red.

- In MS Powerpoint the level1 list items have bullet icons (dashes). In oo
there is indentation but no icons.

- In MS Powerpoint the text is scaled so it fits on the page. In oo the text
looks unformatted and runs off the bottom of the page. (Maybe related to bug
115668)
