             Bug #: 118547
        Issue Type: DEFECT
Summary: "restore windows" notification will not close
    Classification: Application
           Product: Word processor
           Version: OOo 3.3 RC10
          Platform: Macintosh
        OS/Version: Mac OS X
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: major
          Priority: P5
         Component: open-import
        AssignedTo: writerneedsconfirm@openoffice.org
        ReportedBy: djblizack@yahoo.com
                CC: ooo-issues@incubator.apache.org

I'm using Mac OS X Lion.

When I start up OpenOffice.org, a notification window instantly opens, as
follows:

Restore Windows

The application “OpenOffice.org” was forced to quit while trying to restore its
windows. Do you want to try to restore its windows again?

There are two buttons, Don't Restore Windows and Restore Windows. Clicking
either one has no effect, and will not dismiss the notification. OpenOffice.org
will not open any documents as long as this notification is up. The only thing
I can do is Force Quit. Starting OpenOffice.org again after Force Quit gives
the same notification.

I have reinstalled OpenOffice.org twice, including deleting it from the Library
in Home Directory, and am still receiving this same non-dismissable
notification when I launch the program.
